Iconic Beach in Cancun!

Most guests at our resort find very little need to visit any of the other beaches in Cancun, but for the more adventurous and curious, here is a list of the best beaches in Cancun for you to visit during your vacation at Garza Blanca Cancun:

Playa Delfines : The Iconic Beach in Cancun

Playa Delfines is one of Cancun’s largest and most active beaches. It’s not at all uncommon to see jet skiers, parasailers and even pelicans skimming along the bright, blue waters which line this public access beach. Why not spend an afternoon here for some noisy fun.

Costa Mujeres : Garza Blanca Cancun Beach

Garza Blanca Cancun has long been a splendid choice for unforgettable vacations, whether you are enjoying a couple’s getaway, some family bonding time, or an escape to the Caribbean wonderland with your favorite pals like the Bachelorettes. If you are looking for a perfect paradise to enjoy nature and have a nice swim, you already found it! This beach has balmy waters waiting, located in the north of Cancun in one of the most popular areas, great option to spend fun under the sun. The breathtaking Mexican island known asIsla Mujeres, located off the coast near Cancun just opposite Garza Blanca, is such a special place to visit by boarding the ferry.

Playa Forum : This Beach Induces a State of Serenity

The famous Punta Cancun area which can be found just behind Coco Bongo, an infamous nightclub, Playa Forum is one of the most popular public beaches in Cancun. The fun, lively, and social vibe here makes it one of the best places to be at the weekends. You can spend a day at the Mandala Beach Club if you’re feeling upmarket, or have a casual day on the sand.

Langtang Valley treks!

Top trekking routes in the Langtang region

The Langtang Valley is a good choice for those with limited time, with the shortest routes taking just a week (or even slightly less) including travel time from Kathmandu. There are also many ways of combining treks to create routes lasting several weeks.

Langtang Valley Trek

The standard route follows the Langtang river up a steep and narrow valley. On day two the trail passes over the rubble fields under which Langtang village is buried and on day three the valley opens out to arrive at Kanjin Gompa and big views of Langtang Lirung (7,246m), Langtang II (6,581m) and, perhaps the most distinctive mountain in the valley, the pyramid shaped Mt Gangchempo (6,387m). Kanjin Gompa can be a base for many different day and overnight side trips.

Most people go back the way they came but with more time it’s possible to link up with the Gosainkund and Helambu treks.

Helambu trek

The closest trek to Kathmandu — it starts from the northern outskirts of the city — takes you on a fairly gentle amble through terraced fields, wild forests, flower meadows and through lots of little villages with views of the mountains. The highest point reached on this trek is 3,640m, so it can be done as a mid-winter trek when higher routes might be snowed in. You can make an enjoyable week-long circuit (a good option for those with little time and/or trekking experience), but most people choose to use Helambu either as a walk in or out route to Gosainkund and the Langtang Valley.

Seoul Travel Adventures!

Winter magic and Seoul travel adventures never end! When the city is snow-capped and prices – as well as crowds – are at all-time lows, it’s time to team up with Agoda and plan a winning holiday!

1. EAT, EAT, EAT AND EAT!

Whether you like to eat it with your hands, on a stick or in a bowl, Korean food is designed to warm you up from the inside out. Experts agree that any of these street food staples are stick-to-your-ribs satisfying and completely “Seoul-warming.” Judge for yourself at Tongin Market or Gwangjang Market, where the competition never ends.

2. SKINNY DIPPING AT A JJIMJILBANG

All athletes need time to recoup, and visiting one of Seoul’s jjimjilbangs is considered a team event. With sleeping facilities, wide-screen TVs and exercise rooms, Korea’s steaming hot public baths and saunas are the perfect place to rekindle your fire. If you’re not much of a team player, go on a weekday because families fill up these hot spots every weekend.

3. GET ON YOUR FEET

Pull up your long socks and generate your own heat during a winter walking expedition through the city. Whether you participate as a speed-walker or a chilled-out spectator, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a finish line at any of Seoul’s most popular venues.

4. HIT THE HILLS AND ICE-SKATING RINKS

Ice-skating is both an indoor and outdoor sport in South Korea, and rinks fill up fast during winter months. Likewise, with dozens of freshly-packed, snow-covered hills to conquer, sledding is a national winter pastime as well!
